“My first experience with yoga was after the birth of my daughter in 1991. I was already deeply steeped in a tradition of health and well-being from my parents. My Mom being a lover of Jack LaLanne and my Dad was a naturalist before that was even a thing. I was aware of the connection between mind, body and spirit at a very young age. I danced professionally and worked in the fitness industry teaching Pilates and group fitness for several decades. However, in the late 1990’s, my vision swung inward and I began my yoga study under Rod Stryker. At the time, raising two children usurped my thirst for a deeper practice. So in early 2000, I took a second 200-hour training under the guidance of Jen Jones. This time, I had grown both personally and professionally, and the principles and practices of yoga took hold. Teaching and practicing yoga is one of my greatest joys!

In addition, I am the mother of two amazing humans, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a particular love and orientation for the elderly; a Licensed Massage Therapist with training in therapeutic massage, cranial sacral therapy, deep tissue and sports massage. I am also a Reiki Master Teacher and have been practicing and teaching this ancient art for 20 years.

My unique skill set weaves these healing disciplines together to create a diverse offering for the personal growth, transformation and healing of my clients.

My personal motto: “Just throw love at it”
