I found yoga in 2013 after the death of my son, (in 2010 from cancer complications) and major health issues that left my body and spirit broken. Yoga and meditation quickly healed my heart, mind and body!
In April 2016, I completed my 200YTT under Jen Jones and also became certified for The Great Yoga Wall through Agape Yoga Studio. In May 2019, I became an Accessible Yoga Ambassador, attaining my certification through founder, Jivana Heyman. I am currently going through the 300YTT under Jen Jones at South River Yoga and look forward to graduating in May 2020.
I love the healing properties of laughter and positivity, using it in my everyday life. My sense of humor comes through in my classes, creating a uniquely refreshing and lively practice.
Aside from teaching, you can find me enjoying the outdoors; hitting the local trails for some long miles, motorcycle rides with my husband Brett, walks with my dogs Harley and Chopper, gardening, birdwatching & attending to my many feeders for local wild birds.
